Before you tell me about all of the ways extreme meal-prepping has saved you time and money, let me say that I totally get it. It absolutely works for some people. Of course you can save money by purchasing things in bulk, having things prepared to eat all of the time to reduce the temptation to eat out, etc. I think it’s really awesome when people can get this to work for them, because I’m all for anything that makes life easier and saves money….

How to Flip a Breech Baby (From a Mom That Tried it ALL)
Three years ago, our first child was born. In preparation for her birth, my husband and I went to an all-day birthing class. I seriously considered leaving during the part where the instructors explained what to expect in the event that you needed a c-section. That’s how sure I was that I would have a beautiful, all-natural, perfect-in-every-way childbirth….
3 Day Camping Meal Plan
(This post may contain affiliate links. You can find my full disclosure here.)
A couple of years ago, we went camping as parents for the first time. It was mind-blowing how much preparation it took to spend 3 days in the outdoors with a one year old. Our truck was literally overflowing with stuff. I spent days and days prepping and trying to think of everything we needed to bring, and between the camp site, gas, food, supplies, etc, it actually ended up being pretty expensive, too!…

As any true coffee drinker in the world knows, it’s very important to get your favorite coffee drink right. Whether it’s the perfect cup of black coffee or a thoughtfully made cappuccino, we’ve all got our preferences. My go-to morning beverage of choice changes every now and then. For a long time, it was an 8 ounce cappuccino, but I’ve been on a long stretch of only small double iced lattes with extra ice. I started thinking about my favorite drinks back in my early days of coffee drinking, and my husband reminded me about my past love for white chocolate….
How To Make a Bean Plant Tepee
This is such a fun spring/summer project. Not only will your kids love to watch the progress of their new fort, by the end of the summer they’ll be able to sit in there and actually eat their veggies! The bean tepee in the photos here is the one that is currently growing in my parents garden, and our 3 year old loves it! My dad is an awesome gardener, so I’m sharing with you his tips on how-to make a bean plant tepee for yourself!…
8 Unique Must Have Baby Products (that you’ve probably never thought of!)
(This post contains affiliate links. Read my full disclosure here.)
Like most homes with babies, ours has been completely overtaken with pointless baby paraphernalia. Some examples: bulb suction to clear baby’s nose. The only thing that accomplishes is poking your baby in the eye. Or baby powder. Do people really use that stuff anymore? And don’t get me started on tiny hiking boots for babies. WHY….

Tips for Pumping at Work
This is for you, breastfeeding moms! Whether you are a first time parent or returning to work after your third child, the idea of pumping at work and keeping up your supply can be stressful. If you’ve been breastfeeding on demand for months, it can be hard to imagine that it’s possible to maintain this special bond with your baby once maternity leave has ended.

DIY Pop-Up Cards
Our 2 year old daughter loves her pop-up books these days, which gave me the idea of creating some easy pop-up Valentines Day cards! I cut out the pieces while she was napping, and let her go to town on the cards with some glitter pens! (I was walking around Target with ACTUAL glitter in the cart, when thankfully I came to my senses and decided that was a terrible idea…)

Easy Chocolate Truffles
This is a super simple, basic recipe for chocolate truffles. And who doesn’t love to get some homemade truffles for Valentines Day?? (Or Mother’s Day, or your birthday, or a random Tuesday..)
I made this quick recipe and let them chill in the fridge, then our toddler had so much fun rolling them in a variety of toppings. I found some cute little mini-cupcake liners, which are the perfect size for packaging them up.
